Meet the Designers
Our founders and designers Chris Turner and Paul Wrona established Nisho because they found that many people looking to elevate their outdoor space sought a high-design fire feature, but struggled to find a quality, tasteful solution. Over the past 5 years, they have had an inside look at exactly what clients are looking for and how they could innovate the market through their own high-end residential outdoor architecture studio. Both Chris and Paul have been in the world of high-end outdoor architecture throughout their careers and found that their collective experience brought something new to the table.
Chris is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Landscape Design. Over the last 13 years, Chris has specialized in the high-end residential market, creating outdoor spaces that have been recognized both locally and nationally in magazines such as Architectural Digest, Luxe Interiors and Design, 5280Home, Modern in Denver, Denver Life, and Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, among others.
Chris was recently chosen as one of Denver Business Journals’ 40 under 40 award which honors influential and accomplished business leaders who are active members in the community and in shaping Denver business. Chris was also recognized by Colorado Homes and Lifestyles magazine, by being named Top 5 Under 40, which spotlights the hottest emerging talent in residential design in Colorado. Selected by an expert design panel, Five Under 40 winners are the people to watch, producing some of the most stunning and innovative work available today.
